During a short office visit, a small amount of your own blood is drawn into a tube. The tube is then spun in a centrifuge separating the platelet rich plasma, which contains stem cells and growth hormone. Then this tube is transferred to a second tube which creates a platelet rich matrix. Then PRFM is then injected into your face where you have volume loss. Immediately you see a response, but then in the next few days you go back to baseline. Gradual results occur 4 weeks after the first treatment.

-- "This is so natural. It is your own blood, not a foreign manufactured product. Selphyl has been featured on 'The Doctors' and on 'Rachel Ray'," Dr Stuart Melnick.
